SMS Messaging Opt-In Policy

Effective Date: October 19, 2026

Last Updated: October 19, 2026

This SMS Messaging Opt-In Policy describes how Digirestro.ai (“Digirestro,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) obtains consent to send text messages, what types of messages may be sent through our restaurant technology platform, and how recipients can manage preferences. This policy supports our messaging services, including SMS delivered through telecommunications providers such as Twilio, and is intended to meet carrier and application-to-person (A2P) messaging program requirements. By opting in to receive SMS messages from Digirestro, you agree to this policy and to our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

1. Who We Are

Digirestro provides restaurant point-of-sale, online ordering, kitchen operations, customer engagement, and related messaging tools for restaurants and food service businesses. SMS may be sent by Digirestro or on behalf of restaurants using the Digirestro platform to guests, staff, and business contacts who have provided consent.

2. Types of SMS Messages

Depending on your relationship with Digirestro and the services enabled by a restaurant, SMS messages may include:

  • Account and onboarding notifications
  • Order confirmations, status updates, and pickup or delivery alerts
  • Customer care and support responses
  • Appointment, demo, or callback reminders
  • Security, billing, and service-related notices
  • Product, feature, and promotional messages (only where permitted and with appropriate consent)

Message content and frequency depend on the services you use and the actions you take. Message frequency varies.

3. How We Obtain Opt-In Consent

Digirestro does not send SMS messages without consent. We obtain opt-in through clear, affirmative methods, including:

  • Unchecked consent checkboxes on Digirestro website forms (for example, the contact form and new restaurant inquiry form) where the user voluntarily selects SMS opt-in and provides a mobile number
  • Written or electronic agreements when restaurants subscribe to Digirestro messaging features
  • In-product prompts where end customers explicitly agree to receive order or service SMS from a restaurant using Digirestro
  • Other consent flows that clearly disclose SMS, link to this policy, and require affirmative action

Consent is not a condition of purchase. Users may use Digirestro services or submit website forms without opting in to SMS, unless a phone number and SMS opt-in are both required for a specific optional communication the user requests.

When you opt in on our website, we may record the phone number provided, the date and time of consent, the policy version, and the form or page where consent was given. This helps us demonstrate opt-in for carrier registration and compliance reviews.

4. Sample Website Opt-In Language

Our public website forms use language substantially similar to the following (shown next to an unchecked checkbox):

“I agree to receive SMS messages from Digirestro at the mobile number I provide. Messages may include account notifications, customer care, and service updates related to my request. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. I have read the SMS Messaging Opt-In Policy, Privacy Policy, and Terms of Service. Consent is not a condition of purchase.”

5. Opt-Out, Help & Support

You can opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to a message you received. After you send STOP, we will send a confirmation message and you will no longer receive SMS from that program unless you opt in again.

For help, reply HELP to any message or contact us at support@digirestro.ai. You may also email sales@digirestro.ai for sales-related communications.

Message and data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

6. Privacy, Terms & Data Use

Mobile numbers and message content are handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We use messaging providers (including Twilio) to deliver SMS. These providers process phone numbers and message metadata as subprocessors under contractual safeguards.

We do not sell mobile numbers or SMS opt-in lists to third parties for their own marketing. We may share information with service providers, restaurants (for guest-facing order messages), legal authorities when required, or as described in our Privacy Policy.

Your use of Digirestro messaging is also subject to our Terms of Service. Restaurants using Digirestro are responsible for obtaining lawful consent before messaging their customers through the platform.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this SMS Messaging Opt-In Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted at https://digirestro.ai/sms-messaging-policy with a revised effective date. Material changes may require renewed consent where required by law or carrier rules.
